loosening up RGB slim crossfader

edited January 2013 in Hardware

yeah, got an RBG slim, but the crossfader is a bit too tight, wondering if theres any way to loosen it up without doing damage to the unit?

  • hmm. use it a lot ;)

  • ha, fair enough, cheers for your time anyway

  • I'm wondering why using a tiny spray of control contact cleaner/lubricant hasn't been suggested? I've been using it on Guitars, Synths and really anything with stubborn switches, sliders or dials. It's completely safe. I've been using it for about 26 years with 100% success and no damage.

  • Yeah you can use DeOxit F5 FaderLube

  • excellent, cheers guy, knew this could be sorted
