Here is a rundown of my gear:
Factory reset with latest version H9_5.4.0
Kenton MIDI USB Host mkII
plugged in original wall DC adaptor.
Sends midi from MIDI OUT to H9 MIDI IN (tested with an Alesis MIDI keyboard and it works fine. I see the H9 change presets)
I'm using official latest firmware version: gwing_controller_118.bin
(also tried: gwing_controller_059_accMaps.bin , gwing_controller_122.bin and gwing_controller_134_OTA_beta1e.bin )
I use: gwing_firmware_update_105 to update all firmwares...
All of these work fine on my Mac, I see with the monitor that the program changes and CC's send correctly.
(I make sure to disconnect using a long click and disconnect USB receiver, Disconnect Bluetooth menus)
The thing just simply wont connect to the Kenton MIDI USB Host mkII,
When using the newer firmwares, the lower button blinks endlessly
Is there a secret combination to force a connection?
I've exhausted every avenue of plugging sequences. Nothing.
Every device works on it's own:
1- The H9 receives MIDI from Kenton MIDI USB Host mkII when I use a regular keyboard,
2- The guitar wing connects every time on the Mac and sends CC's and PC's to the midi monitor window.
After a whole weekend of trying every single combination, I'm here asking for help
Maybe someone can spot what I did wrong and help me out.
Cheers and thanks for taking the time to read my post.
