How to configure a push button encoder a simple on/off midi impulsion on Cntrl

hi folks,

i just got a cntrl controller, and i m driving crazy...

i try to configure a push button knob, or button as just a switch or pad button... i mean,  i just need a impulsion midi impulsion signal and then it needs togo off.

the problem with the toggle function is i need to press it again to activate or desactivate the function to control ableton parameter..

like a reset button.

so the main idea, it s active until i press the button. and then stops...

if someone has an idea or solution, it will be great ... i lost so much time ....

What software are you working with?

I suggest downloading one of these midi monitors to see exactly what messages the CNTRL:R is sending. This will help you determine where the unexpected behavior is coming from.
