  • I'm getting back into this project after a hiatus.

    I have the Controller box built around four omni boards:image

    Left to right 4 x 4 button (16B) using a button pin header and an LED matrix pin header.

    4F8K with accelerometer, using Slide 4 x30 pin header and Pot 9-16 pin header.
    4F8K without accelerometer, using Slide 4 x30 pin header and Pot 9-16 pin header.
    4F4B using slide 4x60 pin header, plus button and LED matrix pin headers

    all buttons work All rotaries work. All large faders and the four right-hand small faders work. The problem is with the the board second from left. The four small faders seem dead and the header emits random noise on controllers that aren't even hooked up.

    I am working on the assumption that Pins 1 & 2 of the analog header are ground and Vcc. and pins 3 through 10 are inputs 0 through 7. If I understand correctly, my faders should be pins 3–6 and pins 7–9 (inputs 4, 5 & 6) are the three axes of the accelerometer. What I see is a bunch of noise that won't stop until the header is unplugged and the inputs are grounded. Setting inputs 4, 5 & 6 on Header L1 to the acc1 mode seems to have no effect.

    I think where I need clarity in on the three solder bridge connections on either side of the 4x30 4x60 pin header on the Omni board, labeled "SW X", "SW Y", and I'm guessing "SW Z." In this configuration, using four sliders AND the accelerometer, should I have the square pad connecting to the middle pad, the two round pads connected, or no connections at all? The Wiki has no insight regarding what to do with the accelerometer board.
